Thunder appoints Kevin Stone as new Assistant Coach

Brampton Thunder is pleased to appoint Kevin Stone as its new assistant coach for 2015/16 season.

Kevin hails from Orangeville ON where he played his minor hockey and then skated for his hometown Junior team the Orangeville Crushers. He then played in the NCAA for the Fredonia State Blue Devils. As a goaltender he was a 2 year captain and had an All-American nomination his senior year. After College Stone joined the pro ranks where he played in the Florida Panthers farm system with the Port Huron Bordercats and the Louisville Panthers. After minor league stops in South Carolina, Ohio and Texas, Stone started his coaching career with the Bozeman ICEDOGS of the NAHL. He returned to Orangeville to coach in the OJHL and is now excited to be a part of the Brampton Thunder organization.

Kevin is the General Manager of the Orangeville Golf and Country Club.
