Conklin Named Assistant Coach of Brampton HC

The Brampton Hockey Club has hired Pat Conklin for the role of Assistant Coach for the 2012-2013 season.

As former Head Coach of the Burlington Barracudas from 2007-2010, Conklin has extensive CWHL coaching experience.

General Manager, Jody Katz, believes Conklin?۪s skill set and style of coaching will compliment those of new Head Coach, Rick Traugott.

???I am very excited to be bringing Pat onto our staff,?۝ says Katz. ???He brings a wealth of hockey experience at all levels of the game, and his commitment to creating a championship environment is commendable. I believe Rick and he are key components to building a championship team.?۝

???Pat is a terrific fit for our program,?۝ adds Traugott. ???It is so important to have a cohesive staff from top to bottom and Pat will be a tremendous addition to the coaching group. He has lots of relevant experience and a true understanding of the game.?۝

Conklin has been coaching since 1991, where he?۪s been the Assistant Coach for five different Jr. A clubs and acted as the Head Coach of three elite clubs, including the Barracudas.

Conklin currently resides in Burlington with his wife Dyann and their two daughters, Rebecca and Laura.
