Boston Blades Acquire Goaltender Jetta Rackleff

TORONTO, Ont. – The Canadian Women’s Hockey League announced today that the Brampton Thunder has traded goaltender Jetta Rackleff to the Boston Blades for future considerations.

The 5’8” American goaltender from Bend, Oregon, was selected by the Brampton Thunder in the 11th round of the 2016 CWHL Draft. Previously, Rackleff played three seasons of D1 College Hockey for the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Rackleff, 25, played a total of 31 games for the RIT Tigers, posting a 6-20-2 record, a .916 save percentage (SV%) and 2.73 goals-against-average (GAA).

Aside from her NCAA career, Rackleff also has Pan American, World Games and international experience as a member of Team USA. In total, Rackleff has won three gold medals, two silver medals and one bronze medal throughout her international career.
